DBS Asaba Sets Up "Back On Air" committee.

The management of Delta Broadcasting Service Asaba has vowed to overcome the natural disaster that befell the station and restore normal broadcast of programmes on both the radio and TV services within the shortest possible time.    The General Manager of the station, Mrs Evelyn Binitie stated this while setting up a five man high powered committee saddled with the responsibility of returning the signals of the broadcast outfit back on air.     The committee which had the Deputy General Manager, News and Current Affairs Mr Frankwhyte Osabohien as Chairman, also had the Deputy General Manager, Outside Broadcast Mr Ruke Edjeren as member. GBENOBA OLD BOYS JOIN DONATUS AT MUM'S BURIAL

Old Students of St. Columba's /Gbenoba Grammar School, joined one of their own, Mr. Conatus Agbam, as he gave his late mother, Mrs. Celina Agbam, her final passage rites. The after- burial reception which held inside the prestigious school attracted very senior old students of the school and friends. Old students of Baptist Girls' High School, Agbor, joined the wife of Donatus, an old student of the premier female school established in 1946. Old students at event include, Mr. G. O. Ibe, Chief Festus Koyeme, Mr. Maciah Okoh, Barr Emmanuel Eboma, Mr. Peter Idion, Mr. J. O. Dibie, amongst others. Sir Steve Omojafor, Suny  Anumele and Dr. E. U .Tibi, were also at the event. Mrs. Celina Agbam died at the age of eighty years.
