THE ABAVO ELECTION

THE ABAVO CLAN UNION PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION:
THE ASABA GAME AND THE POLITICAL DESPERATION TO INFLUENCE AN OUTCOME.

By Smart Ajaja.

My passionate appeal to the people of Abavo before they make another terrible mistake that would take them back to Egypt is that they should vehemently oppose any manipulative idea and attempt by a few disgruntled self-serving political opportunists from Abavo and their cohorts operating from Asaba to put the leadership of the Abavo Clan Union in the hands of wolves and Trojan Horses in their evil mission to hijack Abavo for their personal benefits.

These ignoble men were the same group of people who benefited, remained criminally silent or went underground when Mr. Uche Irenumma, the ignominiously dethroned illegitimate ex-Obi of Abavo brought a rogue Islamic sect with alleged ties to Boko Haram and Al-Quaeda as a result of his greed for money in his failed desperate and deluded satanic effort to force a change in Abavo's customs and tradition, and to expand his roguery to the rest of the Ika nation and beyond by force, deploying the use of violent means.

As we speak, two Abavo sons in the persons of Chief Vincent Chiyem murdered by gunmen on the 5th of May, 2011 shortly after he emerged from a conflict resolution meeting with Uche Irenuma and Mr. Ogorchukwu Peter Okoh who was murdered on January 15, 2014 allegedly by Uche and his thugs are still lying in two different mortuaries at home without justice in sight for them even as this group of morally bankrupt Abavo elites among the dead Abavo political class and their cohorts from Asaba unconscionably work hardest to bring back darkness  to Abavo via a devious attempt at electing one of their own, interestingly from Ogbe-Idibon in Abavo Central where I was born and raised, as their hatchet man.

Let me use this opportunity to thank the Ogbe-Idibon people for their unwavering support for the Abavo liberation struggle, especially for contributing some of their best heads to the cause and so, they must look beyond the the psychological benefit euphoria of having one of their own as the President of the Abavo Clan Union because that candidate who is from Ogbe-Idibon is not the candidate that must carry the mantle of leadership of the Abavo people because he is not morally qualified, having been playing with two faces and how his father frustrated the Ogbe-Idibon people when he had the opportunity to provide leadership and therefore, should ask him to step down or face the electoral disgrace which is imminent if he chooses to move forward pursuant to his rights to contest.

Since the position of the President was unfortunately zoned (I HATE ZONING) to Abavo Central aka Ogbe-Obi and the people could not produce  world class candidates as I expected, the best out of the four stark choices we have to fill the position as it stands and with the overall interest of Abavo and the Abavo people in mind is, Mr. Agbejiagwe Jonathan and I passionately appeal to the people Ogbe-Idibon in particular, Ogbe-Obi and Abavo in general to put their votes behind him, regardless of his shortcomings of the past and some of the terrible things they may have been told about him, some of which are slanderous and unsubstantiated falsehood associated with the crudity of politics in Nigeria, no matter how small and how local the contest may be.

I address the people of Abavo Central where I was born on this historic occasion, urging them not disappoint themselves by making a choice that would open Abavo for recolonization by the mercenary forces we have defeated on June 22, 2012.

When the Abavo liberation struggle started, the people of Abavo Central took the lead as the rest of Abavo expected them to do and so, the people of Abavo Central must not allow themselves to be manipulated into becoming the reason for not finishing the task and handing Abavo back to the people of Abavo if they don't want history to turn around and judge them harshly.

All right-thinking Abavo people must stand up in defense of Abavo by resisting this group of irritants, renegades and nocturnal mercenaries operating from Asaba and their accomplices of the politics of slavery that shortchanged Abavo for twelve solid years.

The almighty God and our ancestors will visit all those who are setting Abavo back one after the other.

The youths must remember that Louisco's death must not be in vain and that Abavo is not for sale.

God bless Abavo...........

Please, print and circulate this message to every Abavo citizen who has no access to Facebook and read it to all those who cannot read or write, explaining to them that they must resist the evil plan by some some failed politicians and Abavo people in Asaba to bring Uche Irenuma back to the Abavo throne in place of the real owner of the crown.

They must also be told that the Abavo Royal ascendancy matter is not a political issue between PDP and APC as they are being misled to believe. It is not, should not and will never be a party issue.

THE ORIGIN OF AGBOR

THE ORIGIN OF AGBOR DEIN-OF-AGBOR. Agbor is one of the oldest vibrant towns in Nigeria, but may have been disadvantaged and eclipsed over the years by the world famous city of Benin, which is only 40 miles away and Asaba, two major towns in between which it is located, as they served as terminuses for east-bound ferry travellers. So much was not recorded about Agbor. The History of Agbor Kingdom like those of other African ancient kingdoms, empires and peoples, is based largely on oral tradition. Various oral accounts on the origin of Agbor and Ika people exist but the most credible being that “Ogunagbon” and his followers, who founded Agbor, came from Benin and first settled in “Ominije”, presently located in today’s Agbor-Nta. Following what can best be described as personal crisis between two princes in Benin and subsequent settlement of this dispute as agreed to by the chiefs and elders of Benin determined by casting of lot, led to one of the princes settling in what became know...
