The immediate past minority leader of the Delta state House of Assembly and member representing Ika South constituency Hon. Festus Okoh, has reiterated his resolve to work with governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Hon. Okoh was speaking with journalists, shortly after his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party from the Accord Party. He said he took the decision after wide consultation with his family members, constituents and political associates reaffirming that his decision to quit the Accord Party was also based on the unresolved internal crisis that had torn the party into different factions. He disclosed noted that he was impressed with the high level of governance, the state governor Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa had displayed despite the dwindling revenue from the federation accounts and called for more supports from the governor.
Hon. Okoh maintained that he wants to work in synergy with governor Okowa in order to achieve more development for Deltans stressing that he had no regret leaving the Accord party and appreciated the party for giving him the ticket to contest the last election.
